Dell was one of the pioneer global IT companies that setup offices in during the inception of Cyberjaya. The office is call Dell Global Business Center. The entire Dell company consists of Dell, DellEMC, VMware, RSA, Pivoltal, Virtustream and Secureworks.
After merging with global storage giants EMC, EMC's support and admin staff are now required to check into Dell offices in Cyberjaya.
Dell offices practices hot desking policy where employees have to share desk space (cubicles) on demand. Employees are not given fixed spaces and are given lots of flexibility to work from home or at any corner of the office location.
A little trivia about carpark allocation in Dell offices. The managers got basement carpark. Some of the basement car park lots are allocated to their top performing employees. Each month the selected employee of the month gets to park their car in the basement.
There's a 24 gym inside for employees to workout anytime.
As this is a global center, employees can expect their working hours to be non fixed and need to accommodate to certain global time zones depending on the job scope.
