Aik Huat Hardware

Many years ago, it was quite difficult to find hardware shops in Cyberjaya until Ace Hardware open at DePulze Shopping Center. The problem was Ace Hardware items were expensive and they only have the general DIY items, they didn't sell more hardcore hardware items like cement, water proofing paint, bricks etc

These heavy hardware items now can be get from Aik Huat Hardware at Glomac Cyberjaya.

Their inventory seems to be very well stocked and their shop is frequented by all the contractors around Cyberjaya.

Cyberjaya Food Review : Hinz Kichen 兴寰小厨 at Glomac Cyberjaya

This place is considered one of the older food establishments that has survived in Cyberjaya. This place was also one of the few places in Cyberjaya few years ago to get your Chinese food.

After 1 year hiatus from Cyberjaya, I am back based in Cyberjaya again has got a chance to revisit Hinz Kitchen. I recall last time this place was only opened for the lunch crowd.

The food menu is very suited for Cyberjaya, all dishes is single dish served with rice and noodles.

Prices are quite reasonable. My fresh orange juice drink only costs RM4.50. The main course is also ok, this time I ordered wheat butter squid. It’s basically deep fried batter squid topped with sugar coated deep fried egg yolks. Only complain was the deep fried egg yolks floss were a bit sweet.

This place closes at 9PM. Crowds come in from 6PM onwards. Business seemed to have boomed a lot since my last visit years ago.

McDonald's Drive Through in Cyberjaya Prima Avenue

After patronizing the Starbucks drive-through in Cyberjaya for many years, I noticed there was always a queue at the neiboring McDonald's drive-through.

I was thinking to myself, why so many people queue up for the McBreakfast, only got Coffee and McMuffin. I decided to try it out myself. How wrong I was, actually McDonalds serves coffee related beverages like Latte, Americano, Mocha etc.

Taste wise I think both coffee from Starbucks and McDonals are very similar, price wise is 40% to 50% cheaper than Starbucks Coffee.

They're having a loyalty program now where after collecting 3 stamps, the next beverage comes free.

Compared with Starbucks drive through, the McDonald's drive through experience is not as smooth. You need to drive to 1 counter to order, 1 counter to pay and finally 1 counter to collect. For Starbucks, payment and collection is at the same counter.
